  • Proper technical design of mangrove belts (location, species density, etc.) can make or unmake the buffering of mangroves against destructive strong winds.
  • Not just mangroves by other allied ecosystems as well (coral, sea grass, etc.) must be conserved as well.
  • Equitable resource access of communities to the rehabilitated areas are important to sustainability without this, projects are not sustained.
