Dear Fellow travelers in the “development” world, please allow me to share some personal insights (a.k.a. EQ field notes) on our work and advocacies in Upland agriculture and natural resources management in the Philippines and parts of Asia-Pacific. This covers from mid 70s, to the 2020s. It aims to synthesize available field notes, It celebrates the places and stories that have touched me and fellow travelers. I also attempt to connect the past with the present and future. You might also see yourself in some of the stories and pictures here! I also invite your comments on any of the articles under each of the 3 key themes (see the 3 themes below)
Warning ! This is being done in a sort of laid back (lazy) way! Sorry, there is no scholarly writing involved here (yet).
